- Your own wine and cocktails (None can be purchased at
the lodges).
Note: Because all river liability insurance companies
will not Host Liquor Liability as of 1985, we can no longer
furnish wine with evening meals.
Gear should be kept to a minimum as everything must be transported
in the drift boats and hand-carried up to the lodges each
evening.
The above gear should be packed in a weatherproof duffel
or case per person (please leave suitcases at home), with
your camera, film and rain gear in a separate container so
it will be in easy reach in the front of your drift boat.
The fishing tackle is furnished, but you may bring a favorite
rod and reel if you wish. If you want to bring your own fishing
gear, please check list below:
- Fly rod 8 1/2 to 9' (4-6 ounce weight); we use Sage 9'
- 6 ounce weight rods.
- Single action fly reel with 10' sinking tip line; we use
Ross Cimarron Reels with Orvis Fly line 14' WF-6-F/S lines.
- Six foot leaders, tapered to six pounds
- Spinning tackle (Medium)
Guides will have flies and lures. Fishing tackle is also
carried by each guide.
Guides will carry ice for the four days on the river. If
you wish to take fish home. Bring an ice box to be left in
the car or van. Plastic bags are furnished to put fish in
for carrying.
You will be asked to sign insurance release before your
trip.
